4 hours has passed and only gninx and mysql has installed. At 70% on php7.4. My server has a decent speed as I have installed LEMP manually in minutes.

If you use compile and install, the speed will be slower.

All applications are installed by compilation without depending on the "quick install or compile" choice.
I don't understand why it is impossible to install applications from the system distributions and then manage them from the panel?
The OpenLiteSpeed web server is installed in 20 seconds in a standard way.
It has been installed from aapanel for 3 hours already, although I chose "quick installation".
At the same time, the volume of installed packages increases by gigabytes!
I had to give up aapanel. It is impossible to use it.
Ris Because to communicate with services, aaPanel need to compile them from source or the custom package that enable you to manage them through UI, I think.
If you use cPanel, it's the same, they will use the package thats managed by them, not the original or from git source of the software, apparently!

I know this is a fairly old post, but its still a massive issue..
Installing any app takes super long time, 30 min->hours, on contabo VPS nvme germany server, 800 mbit line..
Installing programs using SSH takes just seconds..

My guess: Its a bandwidth problem from their servers

idflorin i moved away from contabo, found a VPS that is almost same price but hella lot faster and more disk space....
Top one is contabo large VPS NMVE, buttom the new place, look at the difference, my TTFB went from 2000-5000 ms to way below 100 ms..
Wrote contabo, woudnt do anything so i cancelled all my VPS from them instantly.

I think there is a big issue with contabo servers..

Im now using https://www.alwyzon.com/en
Servers are in Austria EU, so thats perfekt for me as EU is getting hardass on the GDPR..
Do note, they dont have a DNS service, but i use cloudflare anyways (they do have a Beta DNS service they are willing to launch though if you require).
Im using Virtual Server L now, but i had a Virtual Server M, worked just as fast.
