Sometimes when server load goes high or due to any other unknown reason, MariaDB or MYSQL goes down and it remains down, until it has been restarted manually from the panel.
Is there any way to automate this process? For instance, mariadb fails or crashes due to any reason, but I want it to be restored back or turned on automatically after the crash. How to implement it?
I was reading somewhere, some people recommended MONIT for it and some told manual configurations for /etc/inittab
So I need to know the correct way to automatically start a crashed process.
Thanks in advance.
