hakhakop if you need to test my website installed along with aaPanel then I have to setup it on another SSD so I could return after testing it, just tell me when you need it, thanks
idflorin hakhakop I really don't know what to say. I'm using aapanel + Nginx + php7.4 (with apc ) + MariaDB 10.3 (centos 7 + 4cores + 8gb ram and ssd) for 7 drupal sites and site speed is very good.
v1sh4l hakhakop aapanel is actually slow. I tried vestacp. It was much faster . Maybe because it have nginx proxy but aapanel doens't have it.
hakhakop thanks for replying, The idea of sacrificing some server performance for having a panel is not a good one for me, and i dont understand why it has an impact on website speed anyway, because after all, the background is still the same LAMP or LEMP, I have to say that aaPanel itself works very fast on my server but websites hosted with it are still 2 -4 times slower than with bare LAMP, I think I should find a panel wich doesnt impact on website speed , which would work as a plugin and not as a server main interface
hakhakop when you install aaPanel on a server (which already has LAMP installed ) it doesn't recognize that you already have LAMP installed and suggests to install it with one click, so I think the problem is somwhere here
sakthiwebdev I'm experiencing the same issue. Freshly installed aapanel on a server 1gb ram and 1cpu 3+mhz With just a simple WordPress install on it. (Ngnix, Mysql) Aapanel running well, but the WordPress frond-end backend seems slow.
JAY sakthiwebdev yes i agree on wordpress ngixn is bit slow on wordpress sites on my site it shows 88 page speed on nginx and apache 93 on page speed. litespeed 89
kenan52 If you host PHP App, go to PHP-* / Install extensions and install opcache. I hope this helps you 🙂
neotheghost it must have something to do with the PHP they are using. i think the packages are modified in order to work with aapanel. but the resulting code is slower by factor 4! i tried some scripts and execution times were 4 times higher on aapanel compared to hestiacp, or webinoly setups. still the features of aapanel are great. leaving is hard.
aaP_ozochidi1 any solution for the slowness of wp back end and front end yet, cos i am new here and i am facing the issues
aaPanel_Kern aaP_ozochidi1 Hello, what is your website, if it is wordpress, you can add cache. https://wordpress.org/support/article/optimization-caching/
aaP_kosmel hakhakop Hi all, I had the same problem for a long time, the speed of sites increased after installing PHP extensions link to extentions: https://make.wordpress.org/hosting/handbook/server-environment/ In aapanel: App Stope - php(your version(s)) - Settings - Install extensions tab
