alphacycletech Hi, can someone explain to me what is the difference of admin & general user? I've created emails on both user type, but i dont see the difference.
alphacycletech since there's no reply, and i also managed to find the answer myself. it's for the postfixadmin to manage the email user account without accessing aapanel. only user with the "admin" right can login to the postfixadmin.
rhyker2u alphacycletech apologies to hijack this topic after so many months but found it through Google. Pertaining the prior given postfixadmin explanation ... okay. So what if I want to create an inbox called admin@ .. does a general user account suffice?
alphacycletech rhyker2u it depends on your choice. basically there's no difference between general user & admin user type if you are not going to install the postfixadmin. Admin user has the additional right to manage/create the user account in postfixadmin. So a general user for the admin@example.com is more than enough.
delvan_sousa But then, can you use some panel, like Postfixadmin to manage the emails? Without going into aaPanel?
